Dear Mr. Hunt,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
Scale:
1. I am having trouble determining the scale on sheet A-4 of the plans. Please provide the scale.
Height Calculations:

a. Please add the height calculations to the site plan, and make the calculation breakdown for the
existing house and the new garage separate.
b. Sheet A-4 (east elevation) of the plans shows that the covered front porch has 6x6 posts, but they
are not shown on sheet A-2 or on the site plan. Please revise the site plan to show that the height
rectangle encloses the covered front porch, because it is a structure supported by posts. Please
revise the height calculations accordingly.
c. Please add the Maximum Height, Average Grade, and Actual Height (ridgeline) to scale, to the
elevation on sheet A-4 of the plans. Please do this for both the garage (which has a maximum
height of 15 feet) and the house (which has a maximum height of 25 feet).

(affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to
the Development Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9am to noon or 1pm to 4pm. If
