GIETZEN ADDITION AT 8715 TALBOT ROAD
Dear Mr, and Mrs. Gietzen:
I have reviewed your resubmittal for the above building permit application for the Planning
Division and it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need
to be addressed before review can continue:
1. Height Calculations: Please make the following corrections to your height calculations:
a. It was noted that the elevation of your datum point was removed on your
resubmittal. Please provide the elevation of the water meter used for the height
calculations.
b. It was noted that you added the following statement to your site plan; "Topog
taken from City supplied topog map." Please note that the City is not responsible
for the accuracy of our LIDAR data. Although the City's LIDAR data could be
used to approximate the topography on a lot, the applicant is responsible for
verifying the actual topography in the field. Therefore, please verify that the
topography shown on the site plan is correct and make any necessary changes to
the topography shown so that it is field verified and accurate. Additionally,
please remove the statement about the City supplied topography from the site
plan.
c. Since the proposed height is exactly the same as the maximum allowed height,
please provide the elevations of the four corners of your height rectangle with
one decimal place to increase accuracy.
d. Please update the average grade, maximum allowed height, and proposed height
on both the site plan and the building elevations.
Please submit three copies of the updated site plan (at least one copy must be reduced in size) and
only two copies of any affected sheets of the building plans. Please make all submittals to a
Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm
