SICKLER SUNROOM ADDITION AT 8530 FREDERICK PLACE
Dear Ms. Bottorff:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was
found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
I . Site Plan: Show the entire existing deck on the site plan.
2. Datum Point: Please provide a description of the datum point used for the height
calculations. Was the 100' elevation measured at the base or top of the mailbox?
Note that the elevation of the base is preferred, Our Building Inspector will not be
able to conduct the required height inspection if we do not know which point of the
mailbox was used for your height calculations.
3. Height: Show the proposed height of the sunroom on the elevation drawings.
4. Lot Coverage: Please provide lot coverage calculations. Lot coverage is defined as
"the total ground coverage of all buildings or structures on a site measured from the
outside of external walls or supporting members or from a point two and one-half
feet in from the outside edge of a cantilevered roof, whichever covers the greatest
area." Lot coverage is measured as a percentage of the total lot area, so please
provide the total area for the lot as well.
Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only)
with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the
Development Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at
