Dear Mr. Gregg:
I have reviewed your resubmittal for the above building permit application for the Planning
Division; however, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
1. Site Plan: It was noted that some of the setback lines were corrected on the large
copies of the site plans; however, they need to be corrected on the reduced copies as
well. Please correct the setbacks shown on all copies of the site plan to reflect the
required setbacks for the RS -6 zone (20' street setback, 5' side setbacks, and 15' rear
setback).
2. Height Calculations: It was noted that you moved Points C and D of the height
rectangle to the east in order to exclude the proposed deck from the height rectangle;
however, the points were moved slightly too far. Points C and D should be in line
with the western side of the kitchen addition. Therefore, the eastern portion of the
proposed deck will be located within the rectangle, while the western portion of the
proposed deck will be located outside of the height rectangle. Please correct the
locations of Points C and D of the height rectangle to be in line with the kitchen
addition (excluding up to 30 inches of eaves) and make any necessary changes to the
height calculations due to the new locations of Points C and D.
Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only)
with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the
Development Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at
