Dear Ms, Lakin:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was
found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
Dimensions: Please redline your plans or submit new plans in order to show the
dimensions of the proposed sign. Note that the sign area cannot exceed 24 square
feet.
2. Height: Provide the height of the sign (including the height of the footing) from
original grade. Note that the sign cannot exceed three feet in height from original
grade since the sign is located within the minimum required setbacks. If the sign is
proposed to be higher than three feet, please move the sign to meet the required
setbacks.
3. Sign Area: Please provide the total permanent sign area for the site. Note that the
maximum total permanent sign area allowed is one square foot of sign area for each
lineal foot of the wall containing the main public entrance. Therefore, please provide
the measurement of the length of the wall containing the main public entrance as
well.
Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only)
with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the
Development Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at
