RE: PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS FOR PLAN CHECK # 06-165
FALCONE ADDITION AT 824 MAIN STREET
Dear Mr. Mattson:
Thank you for your resubmittal for the above building permit application. I have reviewed your
resubmittal for the Planning Division, and it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
Setbacks:
1. The distance from the existing bay window to the northern property line is written in
as 17 feet, but scales out at approximately 22 feet. Please confirm which is correct. Also, please
provide the shortest distance from the proposed second floor addition to the northern property
line to ensure that the proposed addition will meet the required 20-foot street setback.
Existing Shed:
2.I cannot sign off on your building permit until I know where the shed will be
located. The shed must be at least 5 feet from the eastern and western property lines, 20 feet
from the northern property line, and 5 feet from the southern property line (the usual 15-foot rear
setback can be reduced to 5 feet since the shed is less than 600 square feet in size). Please
indicate on the site plan where you propose to move the shed.
Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a
written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the Development Services
Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have
