Dear Mr. Russell,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was
found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
1.Sign Area: The maximum area of signs in the BC zone, pursuant to ECDC 20.60.030.A, is
one square foot per lineal foot of attached wall. The application shows that the tenant
space along this wall is 27 feet. Therefore, the maximum sign area permitted is 27
square feet. Please revise the plans to remain under 27 square feet in area.
Thank you for your cooperation. Please redline plans or submit two sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items.
Please make all submittals to the Development Services Permit Coordinator Monday
through Friday, 9am to noon or 1pm to 4pm. If you have any questions, please do not
