STAHL ADDITION AT 1027 SPRAGUE STREET
Dear Mr. Akins:
I have reviewed your resubmittal for the above building permit application and have found that the
following will need to be addressed before review can continue:
Elevations:
1. The elevations and site plan still appear to be inconsistent in showing the relationship of
the eastern side of the proposed sunroom to the eastern side of the existing house and garage. The
site plan shows the sunroom projecting out two feet east of the eastern garage wall; however, Sheet 3
shows the garage projecting east further than the sunroom. The front elevation on Sheet 2 is also
inconsistent with these two drawings. Please correct the site plan and Sheets 2 and 3 to be consistent
in how the sunroom location relates to the location of the existing house and garage.
Height Calculations:
2. I noticed that the height calculations were changed with your resubmittal;
however, the new height rectangle is incorrect. Please correct the locations of the four points as
follows: Points A and C should be moved back to their original locations in line with the westernmost
wall of the existing house. Points B and D should be moved in line with the easternmost wall of
either the sunroom or the garage (whichever is closer to the eastern property line). Also, the
elevations of these points changed by approximately 6 to 8 feet each with the resubmittal. Please
show the datum point and its elevation on the updated site plan and confirm the elevations of all four
corners of the corrected height rectangle.
Please redline plans or submit two sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written
response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the Development Services Permit
Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
