VAN TASSELL ADDITION AT 234 — 4TH AVENUE NORTH
Dear Mr. Kallsen:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found
that the, following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before
review can continue:
1. Lot Dimensions: The site plan shows the lot as being 126 feet by 57.5 feet; however, a
survey recorded with the Snohomish County Auditor's Office shows the lot as being 120
feet by 52 feet (see enclosed). Please provide an explanation for this discrepancy or correct
the site plan to match the survey.
2. Site Plan: Please make the following changes to the site plan.
a. Change the required setbacks on the site plan to 20' street setbacks from the
property lines adjacent to 4h Avenue North and Edmonds Street and to 5' side
setbacks from the other two property lines. Note that this property does not have
a rear setback because it is a corner lot.
b. Under the height calculations, change Point B from 1005,04' to 105.04'.
c. Specify the proposed and existing porches as being covered.
Setbacks: Please provide the shortest distances from the proposed addition to each
property line.
4. Basement: Please specify uses of rooms in basement.
Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a
written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the Development
Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If
