The geotechnical report submitted with the permit application does not appear to address all of the report requirements set forth in Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) Chapter 23.80. Since the site contains and is adjacent to critical areas, including Steep Slope Hazard and Erosion Hazard Areas, it is necessary for the geotechnical report to meet the requirements of this chapter of the code, especially the report requirements addressed in Section 23.80.050. Please submit an addendum from Nelson Geotechnical Associates stating that they have reviewed Chapter 23.80 and providing any additional information necessary so that the report meets the City’s requirements pertaining to the proposed pool and retaining wall repairs. I have spoken with Bala Dodoye- Alali from Nelson Geotechnical Associates regarding the required addendum to the original report, and she is welcome to contact me if she has any additional questions. Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to the Development Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
