Dear Mr. Stewart:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it
was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
Height Calculations:
1. Please show the datum point and elevation of the datum
point on the site plan.
Setbacks:
2. Please provide the distance from the northwest corner of the garage to
the western property line. Note that this distance must be at least 20 feet.
Lot Area:
3. Provide the total lot area on the site plan.
Lot Coverage:
4. Lot coverage is defined as “the total ground coverage of all
buildings or structures on a site measured from the outside of external walls or
supporting members or from a point two and one-half feet in from the outside edge
of a cantilevered roof, whichever covers the greatest area.” Please provide the total
lot coverage on the site plan.
Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets
only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to
the Development Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon
or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at
