Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. 1.Vertical exit enclosures (stairwells) shall be built as fire barriers per IBC 1019.1. Fire barrier walls shall extend from the top of the floor ceiling below to the underside of the floor or roof/ceiling above, IBC 706.4. Stair sections 1/ A7.3 and 2/A7.3 show the gypsum board terminating at the ceiling line. 2.The shaft enclosure walls for the elevator and the trash chute, 1 and 2/A7.1 shall extend from the top of the floor ceiling below to the underside of the floor or roof/ceiling above, IBC 707.5 3.The nosing at the stair landings shall match the nosing at the stairs at stair sections 1/ A7.3 and 2/A7.3. 4.The elevator lobby plan, 1/A7.0 does not show the revised storage closets as included on sheet A2.0. Identify the doors to be used for the closets. 5.Identify the method used to attach the batt insulation to the PT deck, detail 2/A6.00. Provide specifications for six mil vapor barrier meeting the required flame spread and smoke developed index. 6.The key for the 2 hour shaft is missing the identification lines on sheets A2.0 and A2.1 7.The bathroom configurations for a number of the revised units do not appear to comply with either option A or option B of the 2003 A117.1 requirements for fixture clearances. The water closets in small rooms, for example in unit 209, and the clear space for the tub in unit 305. On the enlarged floor plans, indicate with dashed lines the required clear floor space for each type A or type B bathroom. 8.Details 3/A8.5 and 11/A8.5 indicate a maximum 4” rise for the step to the deck.
