GOW RE-ROOF AT 714 EDMONDS STREET
Dear Mr. Johnston:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it
was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
Height Calculations:
1. Since a portion of the existing flat roof is being replaced
with a new truss roof, height calculations must be provided. Although you stated
that the new portion of the roof will not be higher than the existing roof, the height
calculations are to ensure that the height of the new section of roof does not exceed
the maximum permitted height of 25 feet. Please provide height calculations on the
site plan and provide elevations for the average grade, maximum permitted height,
and proposed height. If you are not familiar with how height is calculated within
the City, I am enclosing our height calculation handout for your reference.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday
through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, feel
