Height Calculations: Since the existing roof is being replaced with a new truss roof, height calculations must be provided. Please provide height calculations on the site plan showing the maximum permitted height (25 feet) as well as the proposed height of the new roof. It was noted that you stated in your resubmittal that the proposed roof will not exceed 25 feet in height, however, the City's Building Inspector will not be able to verify this without the required height calculations. Height calculations are a minimum submittal requirement and are necessary for verifying the height of the proposed roof. I am enclosing our height calculation handoutfor reference. The height rectangle should be the smallest rectangle that fits around the exterior walls of the existing structure (excluding up to 30 inches of eaves and excluding the existing deck only if it is uncovered). Please show the datum point, height rectangle, topography at 2 -foot intervals, and elevations of the four corners of the rectangle on the site plan. Additionally, please provide the elevation of the maximum height of the roof and the elevation of the proposed height of the roof. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
