Dear Mr. Estep:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it
was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
1. Site Plan: Please provide a reduced copy (8.5 by 11 inches or 8.5 by 14 inches) of
your site plan.
2. Height Calculations: Since the existing roof is being replaced with a new truss
roof, height calculations must be provided. Please provide height calculations on
the site plan showing the maximum permitted height (25 feet) as well as the
proposed height of the new roof.
3. Setbacks: Please provide the shortest distances from the property lines to the
exterior walls of the residence. Will the new eaves project farther past the exterior
walls than the existing eaves. Please note that if the residence does not currently
meet the minimum required setbacks, the eaves of the new roof will not be allowed
to extend into the setbacks by more than the eaves of the current roof.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday
through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, feel
