Please refer to City of Edmonds standard detail E1.1, E1.2, and E1.3. You may find this detail by visiting the City of Edmonds www.ci.edmonds.wa.us web site at and clicking on City Government-Development Services- Engineering Division and scroll down to handouts and forms. 2.Please refer to the City of Edmonds Residential Addition/Remodel/Alteration Permit Submittal Requirements, #B61. Please pay close attention to submittal requirements 2, 3, and 4, which can be combined. Make sure to provide all items with in these requirements by showing existing utilities serving the property. I.e. water, sewer, gas, power, phone, and cable. 3.Drainage: Is there an existing drainage system in the property? What are the existing downspouts connected to? If the existing downspouts are simply draining to splash blocks, then the same application shall apply to the new addition. If the downspouts are connected to a concrete tile, then the new downspouts shall connect to the existing system and a tightline system shall be required. Please show your intention by adding a note to the Plot plan stating “Down Spouts to Connect to Existing System” or “Down spout to Splash Blocks” 4.Footing Drains: If Footing Drains are required by the Building Division, then you shall connect the Footing Drains to a 3-ft x 3-ft x 3ft drywell pit that is to be filled with ¾ wash rock wrapped in fabric. Please show the location along with a note stating the requirement. 5.Impervious Surface: I have calculated 1,661 sq-ft of impervious surface. Your calculation show 998 sq-ft. Please revise your calculations or verify that the scale used is indeed 1”-20’. You are also showing graveled catchbasins. What do you mean? Is this a gravel surface? If so, gravel surfaces are considered impervious and shall be included in the calculation.
