RUSBASHAN DECK AT 19915 MAPLEWOOD DRIVE
Dear Mr. Parrent:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and it was found
that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before
review can continue:
Site Plan:
1. Please update your site plan to meet the minimum submittal requirements as
stated in the correction letter dated February 12, 2007 from Jenny Readwin, Residential
Plans Examiner.
Setbacks:
2.On the site plan, please show the shortest distance from each side of the
proposed deck to the nearest property line so that we may verify that the deck will meet the
minimum required setbacks.
Height:
3. On the elevation view of the deck, provide the height of the deck from ground
level.
Critical Areas:
4. Please verify in writing whether any ground disturbance will be required
for the deck replacement (i.e. replacing the existing footings, installing additional footings,
etc.). Note that a critical areas study may be required if you propose to do any work that
would disturb the ground.
Lot Area:
5.Provide the total lot area on the site plan.
Lot Coverage:
6.Lot coverage is defined as “the total ground coverage of all buildings or
structures on a site measured from the outside of external walls or supporting members or
from a point two and one-half feet in from the outside edge of a cantilevered roof,
whichever covers the greatest area.” Please provide a breakdown of the lot coverage
calculations for the site. This breakdown should include the area of the footprint of the
existing house, the existing garage, the proposed deck, and any other structures on the site.
Please provide the lot coverage as a percentage of the total lot area.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, feel free to contact
