The following information is still needed to complete review of your application: Variance Approval for V-2007-81. 1. Since the earlier variance application (V-04-54 & V-04- 85) has expired, we are now waiting on approval of V-2007-81. It looks as if the hearing is th scheduled for December 6. Once the hearing has ended the Hearing Examiner will have two weeks to issue a decision, and a two week appeal period will follow. Rockery/Ecology Block Wall. 2. a.Add the ecology block wall shown on the civil plans to the site plan. th b.In my letter dated March 28, I inadvertently gave inaccurate information concerning the height and location of rockeries/retaining walls within the setback. The regulations are not as restrictive. Here is the correct information. Any rockery or retaining wall may be located within the setbacks provided that it does not exceed 3 feet in height above original grade (level of undisturbed soil). In reviewing the plans it appears that the ecology block wall will be supporting a cut slope. In order to demonstrate compliance with the height regulations, please provide the top of wall elevation and the level of original grade in 5-foot intervals along the wall. Please add this information to the site plan. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
