Please show the footprint of the garage on your site plan. I am attaching the site plan from the original building permit for your reference. 2. Lot Coverage: Lot coverage is defined as "the total ground coverage of all buildings or structures on a site measured from the outside of external walls or supporting members or from a point 2.5 feet in from the outside edge of a cantilevered roof, whichever covers the greatest area." The total lot coverage for the subject property would include the footprints of the existing residence and garage, the footprint of the proposed deck, and the footprint of any other structures on the site such as sheds, covered porches, or decks over three feet in height. Please provide lot coverage calculations on your site plan, including a breakdown of the calculations (i.e. size of the house, garage, deck, etc.). Note that lot coverage is calculated as a percentage of the total lot area; therefore, please provide the total lot area as well. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1;00 pm to 4:00 pm.
