Please submit all pertinent and required information regarding the pool. I.e. grading plan, pool drainage detail, etc. 06/25/07, previous comment: Show the location of existing potable water and sewer lines in the · – property. Thank you showing these lines. 7/10/07You are showing dark sewer and water lines. Are these lines proposed or existing? If these are existing utility lines, please change the line color to gray. Assuming these are existing utility lines please show the extent of 2 sewer lines heading in the north east direction toward the building, one is off of the existing manhole and the other just west of the manhole, for it seems these lines will conflict with the proposed pool. If these lines do conflict with the pool then, show how you plan to re-route them around the pool. 06/25/07, previous comment: Indicate the proposed location of the sewer clean-out for pool drainage · purposes. Pursuant to ECDC 19.00.005(c) 12, a means of disposal of the total contents of the pools shall be reviewed and approved by the Public Works Director. (a) No direct connection shall be made between any swimming pool, hot tub or spa to any storm drain, city sewer main, drainage system, seepage pit, underground leaching pit, or sub-soil drain. (b) A sanitary sewer tee (outside DATE FAXED 7/10/07 clean-out installed on the main building sidesewer line) shall be provided for draining of treated water into the sanitary sewer system. 07/10/07 – Per handout #B75 and as shown in sample plot plan the existing sanitary sewer line shall be extended and a cleanout shall be installed between the pool and the mechanical room. The clean out you’re proposing is not near the pool nor the mechanical room. Please extend the sanitary sewer line and install the cleanout as required. In regards to drainage, you are showing a storm line from the pool to an existing catchbasin in the parking lot. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. In addition, the 8.5 x 14 site plan you have provided shows existing drains to remain and it shows these drains intercepting with the pool’s strip drain. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Please see section 12(a) above. Please revise the proposed drainage. 06/25/07, previous comment:For in ground swimming pools, submit three (3) copies of a grading · plan, scaled 1”=20”, with yardage calculations that specify the number of cubic yards to be removed filled or graded.
