McCormick Email: jon@mccmed.com RE: PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS FOR PLAN CHECK # 2007-0612 POLE SIGN AT 635 PARADISE LANE Dear Mr. McCormick: I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division and found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue: Type of Sign: 1.You have proposed to install a 3.5 X 6 foot pole-mounted sign at 635 Paradise Lane. According to the City of Edmonds Comprehensive Plan, the parcel is designated as Westgate Corridor. Section 20.60.020.L of the Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) contains a summary matrix of the types of signs permitted in each neighborhood/district in Edmonds. According to the table, pole signs are not permitted in the Westgate Corridor (designated ‘N’ – Not permitted). Those signs designated with a ‘P’ are permitted and those designated with a ‘C’ are conditionally permitted. For further information on sign types, size, etc., please refer to ECDC Chapter 20.60 (Sign Code) which is available through the City’s website at: http://www.ci.edmonds.wa.us/codes.stm. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
