TOBIASSEN STUDIO AT 24126 105TH PLACE WEST
Dear Ms. Hansen:
Thank you for submitting the height survey in support of the Tobiassen’s studio permit. I have
two questions before I can sign off on the permit:
1) Datum Point. Please clarify if a concrete marker was in fact established as the datum
point near the position of the nail in the fence that had been referenced previously or if
the nail was again used.
2) Side Setback. Please clarify the side setback of the accessory structure. The side
setback in the RS-8 zone is 7.5 feet but the survey indicates the southeast corner of the
structure to be setback only 7.4 feet. If height point “G” was in fact taken at 7.4 feet from
the southern property line, the point will need to be reshot 0.1 feet to the north. If that is
the case, please update the height calculations – total, average and maximum – to account
for any elevation change to point “G”.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; we are closed Wednesdays. If the changes are minor, they can also
