Dear Mr. Landsverk:
I have reviewed your resubmittal for the above building permit application for the Planning
Division and it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will
need to be addressed before review can continue:
Vehicular Access:
1. Vehicular access to the subject property must meet the
requirements of the Engineering Division. Please note that if the access to the proposed
residence is changed to be from the shared access easement instead of directly off of

196 Street Southwest, the revised plans will need to be reviewed for compliance with
setback, height, lot coverage, etc. requirements.
Geotechnical Report:
2.Thank you for submitting the geotechnical letter by Robert
Pride dated October 12, 2007. Upon review of the geotechnical letter, it was noted that
the letter does not entirely address the minimum report requirements in ECDC
23.80.050. For example, a review of your engineer’s geological assessment should be
included in the report, and your engineer must review the proposed building plans and
provide a copy within his report to show that the current plans are the same as the plans
that he reviewed when making his determination that it would be adequate to reduce the
standard required steep slope buffer. Additionally, please show the minimum required
15-foot building setback from the edge of the steep slope buffer on your site plan.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, 9:00 am to noon or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, feel free to
