I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Please
respond in writing to the items listed below. Where appropriate, you may red-line the
existing plans or provide new copies. The following information is needed to complete
review of the application:
Site Plan.
1.
Side Setback
a.. The required side setback is 7.5 feet. However, the plans
indicate that the residence will be located 7.45 feet from the west property
line. Please revise.
Pool
b.. Please refer to Michael Clugston’s comments for Plan Check #2007-
1073. Provide the size of the pool in terms of surface area, not volume. As
Michael stated, if it does not exceed 600 square feet, the required rear setback
of 15 feet may be reduced to 5 feet.
Rear Setback
c.. Please identify the number of feet from the edge of the pool to
the rear property line.
Grading Calculations
2.. Note the amounts of cut and fill on the civil plans. I just
need to confirm that neither exceeds 500 cubic yards. I suspect this is unlikely, but if
either does exceeds 500 cubic yards, SEPA review will be required. The fee is $420
and additional materials will be required. Please contact me for the submittal
requirements.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If providing new copies, submit three
copies of the site plan; at least one copy must be legal size or smaller. If you have any
