SWIMMING POOL AT 1240 BIRCH STREET
Dear Mr. Beavers:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified:
1. Size of proposed pool. The project is located in the RS-6 zone which has a 15 foot
minimum rear setback. This setback can be reduced to 5 feet for accessory structures
covering less than 600 square feet (ECDC 16.20.050). Because the structure is
curvilinear, it is difficult to calculate the square footage from the site plan. If you
would, please confirm the exact size of the swimming pool and the hot tub in square
feet.
Please make all submittals or redlines with a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday
through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, closed Wednesdays. If you have any questions, feel free to
