I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Please
respond to the following items in writing:
1.Parking Area. No parking stalls can be located within the street setback. The
required street setback is 15 feet from the property line. According to the scale
of the site plan, the first stall falls within the street setback area. Please remove
the first stall.
2.Studio Units. Confirm with the Building Division (Ann Bullis 425.771.0220 ext.
1380) that the units qualify as studio units. If they do not, the parking
requirements will increase. (1.5 spaces per 1-bedroom unit)
3.Site Plan. Identify on the site plan the extent of the gravel area(s) and grassy
areas. Typically with a conversion to a triplex, improvements would be made to
the landscaping, especially to ‘soften’ the appearance of the parking area, as seen
from the street.
4.Trash Enclosure. Is there a designated area for the trash/recycling? If so please
identify it on the site plan. It should be well screened and not visible from the
street.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If you have any questions, feel free
