On behalf of the Planning Division, I have reviewed the above building permit
application. Some additional information is still required. Please respond in writing to
the following:
1.Bay Window. On the site plan, please identify the number of feet the bay window
will be to the property line. It must comply with the side setback requirement of
7.5 feet.
2.Height Calculations. The height calculations rectangle (Points A, B, C, and D)
needs to be expanded to enclose the entire existing house and proposed additions,
including the bay window. (Points A and B should be moved northward, and
Points B and C should be moved eastward.) After changing the points, please
recalculate the average grade and maximum elevation. Revise the calculations on
the site plan and re-label the elevation views. Obviously the house is well within
the allowable height; this is just a formality.
You may red-line the existing plans or submit new copies. If submitting new copies,
please include 3 copies of the site plan and 2 copies of page 5 (elevation views).
Make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If you have any questions, feel
