Dear Mr. Waite:
I am writing this letter as a follow up to one dated March 12, 2008, because I did not receive a
response to that inquiry. In the March 12 letter, I noted that I had reviewed the building permit
referenced above and stated I could not perform an administrative design review on the permit.
The Architectural Design Board must review and approve the proposed changes to the structure,
parking lot and landscaping. They will review the proposed changes with respect to the
Comprehensive Plan and the Edmonds Community Development Code, as well as in light of the
existing approved landscape plan (ADB-10-87) and variance (V-1-85) for the site.
As I had mentioned previously, because this application is being made in response to a violation,
fees will be doubled. Please submit the fee ($815 = $800 for ADB review, $15 for City
surcharge), a City Land Use Application, a current Adjacent Property Owner list, and the
required site plans, elevation drawings, and landscape plan in support of the ADB application.
Please submit the necessary ADB application materials by Friday, April 25, in order that we can
begin to process the application. Failure to submit the required materials in a timely manner may
result in enforcement action. If you have any questions about the ADB application or process,
