Dear Mr. Waite:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. I cannot
perform an administrative design review and sign off on the permit as presented. The
Architectural Design Board will need to review and approve the proposed changes to the
structure, parking lot and landscaping. The ADB will review the proposed changes with respect
to the Comprehensive Plan and the Edmonds Community Development Code, as well as in light
of the existing approved landscape plan (ADB-10-87) and variance (V-1-85) for the site.
Because this application is being made in response to a violation, fees will be doubled. Please
submit the fee ($815 = $800 for ADB review, $15 for City surcharge), a City Land Use
Application, a current Adjacent Property Owner list, and the required site plans, elevation
drawings, and landscape plan in support of the ADB application as soon as possible in order that
we can achieve a satisfactory resolution to this situation.
In addition to the above, the Engineering Division also has a concern regarding whether the
onsite detention system is in fact connected to the Citys stormwater system. Please contact
