NEW SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AT 8040 CYRUS PLACE

I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified:
1. Datum Point: Thank you for indicating the datum point. However, the listed
elevation of the point in the legend and on the plan do not match. Please verify.
2. Height Calculation: Because it appears that the proposed structure will be built to the
maximum height possible, please verify the elevations of Points A, C and D. Point A
moved substantially to the north and it is appears that its elevation may have decreased
to something approximately half way between 110.7’ and 109.0’. Points C & D are
both listed as 102.7’ but they appear to be below that elevation on the site plan at
approximately 102.3’. Please make any changes necessary to the resulting height
calculations, as applicable, on both the site plan and elevation drawings.
3. Elevations: Please indicate the actual height of the structure on the elevation drawings
in addition to the maximum ridge elevation.
You may redline your existing plans or submit three copies of your updated site plan (one
reduced size) and two sets of any updated pages of the building plans. Please make all submittals
to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm,
except on Wednesdays when we are closed for permit review. If you have any questions, please
