RE: PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS FOR PLAN CHECK # 2008-0255
NEW SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AT 18819 OLYMPIC VIEW DRIVE
Dear Mr. Redmond:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified:
Plot Plan:
1.Please submit a plot plan prepared in accordance with the requirements
described in the Building Divisions Handout #B73. Handouts as well as the City Code
are available through the City website (http://www.ci.edmonds.wa.us) and I have
attached a copy for your convenience.
Height Calculation:
2. Please confirm the location and elevation for Point A of the
height rectangle. If the original elevation of this point must be estimated, it is
particularly important to indicate the original lines of topography on the site plan. I
cannot sign off on the permit without at least an estimation of the elevation of Point A
from the topography.
Elevation Drawings:
3. Please make any changes to the height calculations on the site
plans and elevation drawings as necessary with the inclusion of Point A in the height
calculation. Please ensure that the maximum height of the proposed structure does not
exceed the 25 height limit based on any revised calculations.
You may redline your existing plans or submit three copies of your updated site plan (one
reduced size) and two sets of any updated pages of the building plans.Please make all submittals
to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm,
except on Wednesdays when we are closed for permit review. If you have any questions, please
