Before I can sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified: 1. Landscaping on Railroad_ Street: The eastern planters on Sheet L03 do not indicate any plantings other than ground cover. Adding a Kwansa Flowering Cherry tree to each bed would add interest and provide reference to Main Street since the Kwansa is the street tree called for in the Edmonds Streetscape Plan along Main, Another option could be to install additional Red Maples in each of the beds. 2. Landscaping on Railroad Avenue: It is understood that some landscaping work will be done adjacent to the existing bus shelter on Railroad Avenue and that Rich Lindsey, Parks Manager, will be field locating that work. However, please indicate on Sheet L03 where the landscaping will occur and show the general positions of the four proposed Amanagawa Cherry trees. 3. Irrigation Plan: Please provide an irrigation plan showing the type and location of all irrigation equipment. 4. Landscape Bond: Please provide an estimate of the total cost of the proposed landscaping work including planting materials, irrigation equipment, installation, etc. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, except on Wednesdays when we are closed for permit review.
