During the second review of the plans for the revisions to the above noted project, it was found that
items in bold

plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. The original comments are followed by the second review

1.For the structural calculations for the proposed metal awnings:
The plans show the metal frame canopy will replace

2.For the wood framed roof diaphragm:
a.The twist straps called out on the original drawings were used to tie the top of the
canopy trusses, and the stud wall to the flat roof diaphragm. Those twist straps are
now an incorrect size, if twist straps are still required (similar to the opposing wall).

Engineer of record to identify revised diaphragm to wall connections required.

exterior sheathing is installed and has been approved for cover. Is the EOR
requiring the sheathing to be removed or notched to perform this operation?
Might it be more practical to use the LST12 straps as called out on detail M/S3?
