SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AT 523 ALDER ST
On behalf of the Planning Division, I have reviewed the revisions to BLD-2008-0474.
Please respond to the following, so that I can complete my review:
1.Datum Point. As requested previously, please select a different point other than
the iron pipe as the datum/site benchmark on the site plan. Label it on the site
plan and provide its elevation.
2.Basement Level. It appears that the basement level could potentially function as
an accessory dwelling unit in the future. If you wish to receive approval for an
accessory dwelling, a land use permit will be required. Specific criteria must be
met, and size could potentially be an issue. The maximum size is 800 square feet.
If however, it is not your intention for the lower level to function as an accessory
dwelling unit, you can sign the attached affidavit.
You may red-line the existing plans or submit new copies. Make all submittals to a
Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, 8:00
