NEW 4-UNIT CONDOMINIUM (NORTH CREST) AT 620 GLEN STREET
Dear Mr. Johnson,
I have again reviewed the referenced building permit for the Planning Division. Before I can sign off on
the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified:
Height Calculations: The revised roof plan (A7) shows two crickets that are less than 4:12
above the 25' height limit for the RM zone. According to ECDC 16.30.030.A(1), the "[r]oof
only may extend five feet above the state height limit if all portions of the roof above the stated
height limit have a slope of four inches in 12 inches or greater." I cannot sign off of the permit
until all portions of the roof over 25' are at a 4:12 pitch. I understand that our Plans Examiner,
Pat Lawler, emailed you earlier today with a design suggestion that may allow the project to
move forward. I look forward to seeing the resubmittal.
