Project Address: 9120 236TH ST SW, EDMONDS.
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.To meet the prescriptive path of the 2006 IRC the proposed garage requires interior brace
wall lines at a spacing not exceeding 25 on center in both the longitudinal and transverse
directions per R602.10.11.1 The exception for 35 o.c. does not apply because the structure
exceeds 900 square feet. Please provide revised plans showing the interior brace wall lines.
Another option would be to provide engineering calculations and design.
