® RECALL FOR INSPECTION
A final inspection was not requested, however, in an effort to be well informed of the project status,
city engineering inspectors performed a walk-through on August 28, 2018. It is understood that
some of the items noted below may already have been corrected at this time. A follow-up
inspection shall be scheduled by the contractor when all items have been corrected or as needed to
complete individual phases of work.
BLD20170493 — Fill/Grade/Excavate (civil site and utility work):
1. Contractor to provide photos of water service line installation to engineering inspector.
2. RPBA in hotbox and water quality reports to be inspected by City Water Quality Specialist —
Jeff Koblyk — 425-771-0235.
3. Trash enclosure - Drop pin holes not installed for use when gate is in open position and drop pin
does not exist on north gate.
4. Entire storm system to be cleaned.
5. Obtain Fire Department final.
6. Construction debris to be removed from site to ensure storm system remains clean and
functioning properly.
7. Electronic asbuilt of civil construction improvements to be provided to the City. Asbuilt shall
include complete civil plan sets.
ENG20170122 — Stormwater (stormwater detention vault
1. Entire storm system to be cleaned.
2. Need to confirm diameter of orifice drilled in welded steel plate of control tee.
Shear gate with control rod to be installed.
ENG20170286 — Right -of -Wad
1. Curb/gutter and sidewalk replacement along Highway 99 needs to be completed.
2. Open trench along backside of sidewalk along Highway 99 needs to be backfilled.
3. The utility pole on 212th St SW is to be relocated to the back of the sidewalk. Separate
communications on this are taking place with Peter Chung and David Estes. If this item has not
been resolved prior to final certificate of occupancy, a performance bond shall be held in place
until the work is complete. With a performance bond in place, final C of O will not be held
back for this item alone.

Sidewalk surrounding PUD pole on 212th St SW was not replaced with temp asphalt as
requested. Concrete was placed, but was not poured with joints placed to meet City standards
and the section immediately around the pole was not poured. In addition, the sidewalk was
poured around the guy anchor within the pedestrian path of travel. These issues will be resolved
with relocation of the bole. The current condition is as shown in the ahoto below:
5. Gutter flow line on 212th St SW contains debris and rock. Need to clean.
6. Remnants of slurry exist at south end of project in Hwy 99 gutter flow line. In addition, slurry
can be seen in CB filter sock to the south of the southern driveway approach. Contractor
instructed to clean filter sock on site and remove slurry from ROW without washing it down
storm system. Discharge of slurry constitutes an illicit discharge and fines can be assessed.
BLD20161684 — New Commercial
1. Trash Enclosure: Drop pins required on both sides of gate. Sleeves to be placed in the asphalt
for the pins to drop into when in the open position.
2. Confirm the oil/water separators located in the upper parking deck are clean.

A section of the landscaping at the back side of the sidewalk on 212th has been exposed due to
hed.
ENG20170333 — Side Sewer
1. Oil/Water Separator in front of mechanic bays could not be opened due to asphalt debris
stuck in the latch. Please remedy and ensure the separator has been cleaned and operating
properly.
2. Install twist plug in sewer cleanout located in paved drive aisle near north end of mechanic
bays.
The actions or corrections indicated above are required to be corrected PRIOR TO FINAL.
