PROJECTING SIGN AT 402 MAIN STREET
Dear Doug:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can sign
off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified:
1. Building Frontage: Please provide a lineal foot measure of the tenant frontage.
2. Sign Height: The elevation of the bottom of the sign is currently shown at 7.6'. According to
ECDC 20.60.040.C, "The bottom of the sign area of projecting signs shall be at least eight feet in
height and at least 11 feet in height if it projects over a vehicle -traveled right-of-way." Please
revise the sign's position to meet the 8' height requirement.
Make all building permit submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If you have any questions, please contact me at (425) 771-0220.
