SIGN AT CHANNEL MARKER, 170 SUNSET AVENUE SOUTH
Dear Brent,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified:
1. Number of Signs: According to ECDC 20.60.025.A.4, the maximum number of
permitted permanent signs in the BC zone is three per site, or one per physically enclosed
business space on commercial sites with multiple business tenants, whichever is greater.
The Channel Marker has an existing sign on the northern fayade of the building — is the
proposed sign intended to replace the existing sign?
