During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Identify beams on plan and provide beam calculations. It appears that one is not called for at the
carport opening facing the street, which would be necessary to carry the hip roof load.
2.Provide hanger and/or strap requirements at beam to house and beam to beam connections.
3.Provide ramp and landing construction details. Footings, posts, beams, joists, decking,
connections. We arent sure that the contractor would have the discretion to build it to code.
With a plan we can check spans, etc., for code compliance.
4.Identify the size of the roof plywood
5.Twelve footings are indicated on the plan. A note on page A2.0 at the ramp landing states
typical for seven. What is the detail for the other 5 footings, or should it read typical for 12?
