DOLLAR TREE SIGNS AT 23632 HIGHWAY 99
Dear Applicant:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it was
found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed
before review can continue:
Sign Area:
1.The total sign area for the Dollar Tree tenant space is not permitted to exceed
the total of the previously existing sign area of the prior tenants (Blockbuster, The UPS
Store, and HoneyBaked Ham). Please provide a breakdown with documentation of the
previous sign area for these tenants and show that the proposed signage will not exceed the
previous total.
Sign Scale:
2.It was noted that the proposed sign on the eastern façade is nearly four feet tall
and takes up the majority of the band from the bottom to the top of the sign. The design of
both signs should be consistent with the other signs within the complex, and it appears that
the eastern sign would be more consistent with the other signs on the eastern façade if it
were slightly reduced in scale by reducing the height of this sign.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
