Dear Mr. Roundhill:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it was
found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed
before review can continue:
Sign Size:
1.Pursuant to ECDC 20.60.040.A, the maximum allowed area of the proposed
sign is 16 square feet. In order to confirm compliance with this requirement, please
provide the area of the proposed sign (including the anchor) on both the elevation drawing
and sign detail pages.
Sign Height:
2.Pursuant to ECDC 20.60.040.B, the maximum allowed height of the
proposed sign is 14 feet. In order to confirm compliance with this requirement, please
provide the height from ground level to the top of the sign, as measured to the top of the
anchor.
Total Maximum Area:
3.Pursuant to ECDC 20.60.025.A, the maximum total permanent
sign area is one square foot per lineal foot of wall containing the main public entrance.
Therefore, please provide the lineal footage of the wall containing the main entrance on the
elevation drawing.
Illumination:
4.Please indicate how you plan to illuminate the sign, if applicable.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at
