10.10.18 - Email response for Sewer Cylinder.pdfFrom: Rivera, Chris To: "John Murphy" Cc: Darrell Smith; Terry Murphy Subject: RE: Permit number eng20180044 Date: Wednesday, October 10, 2018 3:51:51 PM Hello All, I spoke with our utilities engineer and provided the below forwarded email as well as the original approved sewage pump design packet. A question was asked in regards to option #2 - Is the approximate 1.75" (1 don't know the exact width if John or Terry could provide additional information may be helpful) circumference lip at the base of the cylinder going to be enough area for the concrete to hold on to? If it is decided to go with option # 1 - We will need to know what type and size anchor would be acceptable (to LDC Corp.) for the install, prior to inspection. Please let me know what is decided. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you, Chris B. Rivera Engineering Technician City of Edmonds 121 5th Ave. N. This is for the correction notice on 15716 72nd Ave West and permit number ENG20180044. We will be pouring concrete alternative method for the uplift from the email below. Please verify this email letter is enough from the Engineering firm on record. The LDC spec sheet required 23 cubic feet concrete (3,334lbs) and you have installed 72 cubic feet of concrete (10,476lbs). So attaching your sump by installing 4 concrete foundation anchor bolts should satisfy the city inspector correction notice. I would however run this solution past the city before beginning. Alternatively you could pour 23 cubic feet concrete around the base of the sump. Feel free to call me if you have any questions. Attached are pictures from the site with the correction notice. Basically, the inspector wants to know how high and how much concrete around the base for potential uplift. Their standard detail is attached as well. We have poured 1 foot thick concrete pad underneath already as you can see from picture. > Thanks for your help > John Murphy > 206-730-6734 > Sent from my iPhone > Begin forwarded message: > From: "John Murphy" <mbc@murphybuilding.com<mailto:mbc@.murphybuilding com» > To: "John Murphy" <mbc@murphybuilding.com<mailto:mbc&murphybuilding com>>, "Terry Murphy" <tmm@murphybuilding.com<mailto:tmmWmurphybuilding com» > [cid:image001.jpg@O1D4606E.B39F5620] > [cid:image002.jpg@OlD4606E.B39F5620] > [cid:image003.jpg@OlD4606E.B39F5620] > [cid:image004.jpg@OlD4606E.B39F5620] > Sent from my iPhone > <image001.jpg> > <image002.jpg> > <image003.jpg> > <image004.jpg>
