YACHT CLUB / NPI INC. SIGNS AT 326 ADMIRAL WAY
Dear Mr. Collins:
I have reviewed your submittal for the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it
was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before
review can continue:
Site Plan:
1.Please provide a site plan and indicate the locations on the building where the signs are
proposed to be installed. A copy of the site plan from your building permit application would be
sufficient for this requirement. The site plan should also indicate the lengths of the northern and
eastern building facades to be utilized for maximum allowed sign area calculations.
Illumination:
2.Your plans do not indicate any illumination of the signs; however, I was under the
impression that the two wall signs were going to be externally illuminated. Please clarify and
provide information on proposed external illumination if applicable.
Sign Size:
3.The partial eastern elevation submitted with your application (sheet 4) dimensions the
heights of the letters for “Edmonds Yacht Club” as being 9” high and the letters for “NPI, Inc.” as
being 7.5” high. However, the detailed dimension sheets (sheets 6 and 7) indicate that the heights
of these letters are 8” and 7” respectively. Please clarify which dimensions are correct.
Colors:
4.The color chart submitted with your application (sheet 8) indicates a background color of
stone gray and a text color of ivory. Please clarify what these colors are to be utilized for, as the
wall signs are channel letters with a metal face. Are the colors for the individual “EYC” letters
within the dormers?
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday,
