Dear Mr. and Mrs. Porter:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it was found that the
following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed before review can continue:
1. Lot Dimensions: The Snohomish County Assessor's website provides the following legal
description for your property: SEC 25 TWP 27 RGE 03 RT -207-) BEG NE COR SWI/4 NEI/4
TH S 00*35 56W 1161.09 FT TH N88*54 06 W 138 FT TO POB TH N88*54 06W 53, 76 FT TH
S00*34 35W 135.89 FT TH S 88*54 06E 53.76 FT TH N00*34 55 E 135.87 FT TO POB
Based on the above legal description, the dimensions of your property would be 53.76' by 135.87'
Please verify the dimensions provided on your site plan and make any necessary corrections, or
provide the correct legal description if the one the County's website is incorrect.
2. Lot Area: As stated above, it appears that the dimensions shown on your site plan might be
incorrect. Please update the lot area and lot coverage percentage based on the correct dimensions of
the site.
3. Setbacks: Since the dimensions of the site may need to be corrected, this could change the
distances from the addition to the property lines. Please update the dimensioned distances from the
addition to all property lines as needed.
Height Calculations: The datum point for your height calculations is labeled as the telephone
pole, but your plans do not specify which point of the telephone pole was used. Please specify the
exact point used for the datum point. It may be easier to use the water meter located adjacent to the
southern property line. Additionally, it was noted that Point B of the height rectangle is not in line
with the eastern side of the height rectangle. Thus, this point should be moved to the west to be in
line with the corners of the height rectangle and any necessary updates to the elevation of Point B
and the height calculations should be made.
