PO Box 12863 Mill Creek, WA 98082 RE: Plan Check: BLD20100402 Project: Linton Garage/Deck/Remodel/Addition Project Address: 17720 Talbot Road During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information, clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. 1.Engineer of record: a.Provide calculations for the deck and roof cover at the dining room. b.Interior shear transfer detail for the SW2 wall at the family room in the basement, through the SW1 wall at the living room, to the roof deck. c.Justify surcharge from crawl space foundations onto existing basement foundation walls. 2.Section through garage. Because the garage is to be heated indicate insulation and thermal- break requirements. 3.Detail J/8 connection of pony wall to footing. 4.Indicate windows required to be safety glazed, e.g. adjacent to French doors leading to deck. 5.Note 6/8 should read all combustion air to come from outside, because the house will be considered unusually tight due to the energy code upgrades. 6.Prior to installation of the spray foam insulation, provide (2) copies of the ICC-ES reports to the city for approval. 7.The footing drain details need to match the geotechnical report. 8.Complete the attached city special inspection form.
