RE-ROOF OF THE LANDING, LOCATED AT 300 ADMIRAL WAY
Dear Ms. Lindsey:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it was
found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be addressed
before review can continue:
Height
1.: Since the existing roof is being replaced with a new roof, staff must be able to
determine that the height of the building is not increasing in any way above the existing
height or that the proposed new height will not exceed the maximum allowed height of 30
feet within the Commercial Waterfront (CW) zone. It appears that the ribs of the proposed
roof may cause the proposed roof to project higher than the existing roof. If the new roof
will be higher than the existing roof, please provide height calculations to show that the
proposed roof will be below the maximum 30 foot height. You may refer to the enclosed
Height Calculation Handout (#B41) for reference on how to conduct height calculations.
Or, if the height of the new roof will in no way project higher than the existing roof, please
provide a written statement confirming this and describing how the existing height will be
maintained.
All submittals should be made to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
