ADDITION/REMODEL AT 21726 97TH AVENUE WEST
Dear Mr. Ranstrom,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified:
1. Please submit a reduced -size copy of the site plan — 8" x 11" is preferable.
2. Datum Point: On the site plan (A1.00), please identify the datum point used as the
basis for the height calculations. The plans assume a 100' elevation but no datum point
is called out. The datum point must be a permanent point of reference such as the top
of a manhole cover, fire hydrant, or street monument.
Height Calculations: Please verify the elevations for the height corners and the
resulting height calculations both on the site plan (A1.00) and on the elevation drawing
(A3.00). I realize the proposed addition is well below the maximum height limit of 25
feet but the plans must show the true and accurate elevations for the average grade,
actual to ridge, and the maximum allowed heights.
You can either redline existing plan or submit two copies of updated plans. Please make all
submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If you have
