Please confirm that the guardrail is flush with the western façade and that there are no projections out past the western façade. Or, if there are projections out past the western façade, please indicate them on the site plan. Height Calculations 2.: Please make the following corrections to your height calculations: a.It appears that the top of the curb in Daley Street was used as the datum point. Since this is not a single defined point, please indicate an alternate datum point, such as a manhole cover, catch basin, top of fire hydrant, etc. In addition to labeling the new datum point, please provide its elevation. b.The height rectangle must be in line with the outermost walls of the residence excluding up to 30 inches of eaves. Thus, Points C and D must be moved to the south one foot to be in line with the southern wall of the upper floor of the addition since it cantilevers one foot over the lower floor. Please update the elevation of Points C and D to reflect their new locations. c.It appears that there is an error in the height calculations. Please verify the total of Points A through D (including any updates if necessary to the elevations of the corrected locations of Points C and D), and update the average grade and maximum allowed height on the site plan and building elevations to reflect the corrected calculations. All submittals should be made to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
