Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. 1.Provide lateral calculations, especially for the east/west wall line, north wall. 2.Justify potential hinge point at the scabbed doubled 2x8 rim beam/header as indicated on the floor framing plan and section B. Provide connection requirements. 3.The truss spacing at the attic access location exceeds the allowable span for the ½” CDX sheathing. Ladder block at 24” on center, or somehow shorten the span. The minimum rough opening for an attic access is 22”x30” 4.Option III of the energy code summary, as indicated on sheet 1, is limited to hotels and apartments (R-1 &R-2). The likely path for this project would be option IV, unlimited glazing with U.35 vertical glazing. 5. The window adjacent to the French doors in bedroom number 4 is required to be safety glazed. 6. Is the existing wall proposed to support the beam carrying the floor, wall, and roof load at the upstairs tub location, a bearing wall transferring the load to the footings?
